wtnhunt
Congratulations. Changing diapers is nothing. Lack of sleep that can go along with children on the other hand is something you really cannot be prepared for.

RangerClay
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! :drink: Children are a blessing from God. It may seem terrifying at first but being a parent is the most rewarding thing you will ever do. The night I learned that I was going to be a dad I never slept a wink, I was scared to death. I've been a parent for over 8 years and I learn a little more each day. Just be sure to be their for them and do the best you can. Diapers are not that bad but you will get one of the atomic blow-outs every now and then. Deal with it, clean them up, move on and have a good laugh! Ashley
Congratulations I was in your shoes ten months ago (our son is one month now) and we got the little boy Andy wanted, so it all turned out and we just love him! It's quite an experience but it's all worth it to hold your little one. Like you said -- make the best of it and don't look back because you don't have time to dwell on things now. I hope everything works out for you and I wish you the best of luck!

ryan1990
Thanks yall. We are starting to move past the "oh no" phase now and are starting to get excited about it. I had a friend text me last night and say "Im buying an Aladin book for your baby" Its still a shock to hear the words "your baby" lol. She went to the doc and got bloodwork done today. Pretty much comfirmed what we already knew except she is 4 to 8 weeks along, we were thinking like 2 or 3. But according to the doc, you have to be at least 4 to get a positive on a home test, I never knew that.
Newarcher
Don't change anything about your parenting whether boy or girl. Take a girl anywhere you would a boy. That's awesome, congratulations. Believe me when I say, don't blink. Mine were born yesterday and one just turned 11 and the other will be 7 in a month. Spend every second with them that you can without other distractions. Congratulations, this is a wonderful thing. New
Rhino
Congratulations...you'll get used to it all in no time. That is except for the loose ones running out the diapers while your holding them, sleep depredation, and hose shots.
