Several thousand out of power in OK City. Transformers are icing over in Henryetta. Twenty seven thousand out of power in Lawton.

We're not supposed to get much in this part of Oklahoma, thank God, but its already started take out the major cities.

I44 is reportedly closed due to downed power lines and trees.

My worst fears have come true, lost power several hours ago. Couple that with the limbs falling from the weight of the ice, its gonna be a long weekend. Have one tree that I an worried about falling into my house. Oh well that's what ins is for. Guess ill go home tomorrow and see how bad things are

Hope you get your power back soon Jason, that is no fun.

Had some mix here this morning around 3. Temp according to the weather channel in town is 26, been freezing rain/sleet falling for the last hour or so, supposed to switch over to snow around 8 am hopefully that will hold true. Winter storm warning here calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow.

Well called home, still no power. Doesn't look like we got any snow last night. Wind has been blowing, not good for the amount of ice on the trees and power lines. As of eleven there wrte twenty seven thousand without power. Gonna try and go to the house at Lunch time and see what has taken place overnight.
