The_Kat
According to the weather we may escape this without ice or snow
MCH
Several thousand out of power in OK City. Transformers are icing over in Henryetta. Twenty seven thousand out of power in Lawton. We're not supposed to get much in this part of Oklahoma, thank God, but its already started take out the major cities. I44 is reportedly closed due to downed power lines and trees. wtnhunt
Still have a winter storm watch and expectations of 4 to 7 inches of ice and snow, but they seem to be expecting mostly snow here for us now, which is great to hear instead of the ice they were calling for. Most of the roads are salted, so it probably won't do anything.
Hunt or be Hunted
I really do feel for you guys there. that ice is something else. and they changed the inches to 4-7 its not 3-6 no more lol

At lunch the cold front moved in adn the snow squalls were so bad you couldn't see 20 feet. Friggin temps are dropping like a rock now. Temp according to the weather channel in town is 26, been freezing rain/sleet falling for the last hour or so, supposed to switch over to snow around 8 am hopefully that will hold true. Winter storm warning here calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow.
Gator
Well called home, still no power. Doesn't look like we got any snow last night. Wind has been blowing, not good for the amount of ice on the trees and power lines. As of eleven there wrte twenty seven thousand without power. Gonna try and go to the house at Lunch time and see what has taken place overnight.
