redkneck
I'm not going to say I wouldnt try it if someone was cooking it already, but sure aint hungry enough to go out and look for one to eat. I draw the line at most predators when it comes to that, dont think a cat is too far from eatin a dog myself.

backwoods07
Great. Now every time I look at a house cat, I'm gonna be wondering what it tastes like.
RangerClay
My friend who served in Vietnam said that dog wasn't too bad but cat however was real stringy and he didn't care for it.
HUNTINGMAN
Great. Now every time I look at a house cat, I'm gonna be wondering what it tastes like. My cat don't stop running in the door every time it opens he may find himself on the smoker now. Just kidding, unless I was starving to death I don't think I would be able to eat any kind of cat. Wobbly_Alaska
Has anyone here ever eaten bobcat? Someone is trying to tell me that it tastes like veal. Im willing to try it but I want some other people's input first.we eat Lynx all the time... the big fat ones in the trap line are shot to bleed out good.. and harvested correctly. it makes a great sausage and burger or chili meat. I also like to stew it in a crock of beans all day on the wood stove with some homemade BBQ tossed on top..
Adjam5
I am a bit skeptical about eating ANYTHING that would rather scavenge for a meal than hunt. Yotes, Bobcats, Raccoons, Opposums ect. We as humans do eat carnivores generally. I think as close as we get is eating omnivores like Bear. Except for those that eat Bobcat . Basically humans eat just herbivores. I guess anything in a crock pot for a few hours will taste good and tender. Let us know if you eat the Kat:).
