PotashRLS
Is your NFL team this important where you live? Packer traffic is so bad in the Green Bay area come August that construction/renovation on a 6 lane portion of a major highway begins Monday, Feb. 1st. It has to be completed by July 31st before Pre Season. This is part 2 of the project which was done last winter/spring/early summer. This past week has had the days in the upper single digits with this morning -9. The frost is pushing the pavement around and making the roads into washboards. Heck, sounds like a great time for road construction to me. The whole project could be done in one summer if it were a "typical" roadway in a "typical" portion of the state. The Packers play a large role in many aspects of life in Wisconsin. If a mod thinks this belongs in the sports room feel free to move it. camoman1
That is a zoo around there on sundays!! I couldnt imagine having construction AND Packer traffic on that stretch....yikes! Good thing they are starting now but, brrrr Where 41 and 172 meet and south of there is in need of being fixed..big time!
twowetdogz
I grew up in Wisconsin and love the Packers.......but this is ridiculous if you ask me. Maybe the fans should just leave an hour earlier for the games to handle slower traffic because of construction.
hunterbobb
If you think it is ridiculous you have obviously never driven anywhere near Lambeau field on game day. :gun2:
