coles
ive been throwing around the idea of spray paintin the stock on the 981T i just picked up. Will the paint dry well if its not real warm outside? What would i need to do to it to prep the stock? lightly sand it with find grit sand paper or steel wool? any info will help! hunterbobb
Krylon has recently started manufacturing paint especially made for plastic. It is called Fusion. It comes in at least two satin colors that I have tried Grey and Green. Once you cover the stock with Fusion as the base coat you can go on to use any other paint for the remainder of the job. Your options are only limited by your imagination. I have done eight rifles using this method in the last two years and the results are impressive if I do say so myself. Finally, since the paint is so inexpensive if you don't like the results just sand it off and start over again. Plus and later touch ups are a snap. :gun2:

Plus the ones I haven't sold are all pretty much the same pattern. :gun2:
