Stone Cold
I found a complete set on Jan. 3rd 2009 and I went to score some friends sheds. He brought out a shed that he found 3 to 4 years ago and looks just like my shed. He shed hunts about 5 miles from where I found my sheds. Could this be the same deer with the same nontypical point on same side? Please give me your thoughts! Here are the two sheds! The older shed is the shed to the right and my shed found in 2009 is on the left. The only other difference is that the 2009 shed has more mass and longer tines plus one more nontypical point by the other one.

buckee
It sure does look like the same deer. Just too many similarities, right down to the brow tine. Pretty cool find.
Prairiepredator
I would say they are from the same deer... pretty nice too.
Stone Cold
I was thinking that too so I was shocked when my friend saw mine then went to get the other one that he found a few years ago. We both could not believe our eyes. They where found 5 miles apart. That is a long haul but I guess that is not much for the deer. Here is the full set the way it laid and then the full set to see. deershed
I'd say the same deer for sure...Sweet set!!
camoman1
Yep looks the same to me too! Pretty cool find!! The unusual 6 pt I shot this year is rumored to have put on a few miles this year, so I believe that your buck going that far is very possible. When I registered my buck, the guy who tagged it asked where I shot it...turns out he hunt a few miles from me and swears he had it on one of his cams. Congrats on the find again, Im hoping to find a few nice ones like that this year.
Tom2008
You bet they are the same! Bucks can travel a lot farther than 5 miles during the rut if they want to or at any time. That is a pretty awesome match up though. The browtines match up perfectly and the whole layout of the antler seems to be the same.
woolybear
No doubt about it Stones. Interesting match up for sure and really cool your bud found that one. Hard to believe that many years between them by the growth. I never noticed that cup off the main beam on yours- pretty wild.
