Turkeygirl
I wake up this morning, thinking about my application and resume I sent in and it suddenly hits me! I didn't sign my cover letter! ARGH! It had my name printed then I always sign my name...well this time around I totally forgot!!:chair: Must have been because I was rushing to get it in the mail. Oh well......funny how things like that pop into your mind out of no where:shifty:

Prairiepredator
Hopefully the employer will be understanding about it.
woolybear
Who knows what employers look at when they go through resume after resume every day. Doubt they'll pay much attention to it but hard to say:chat: Maybe this will be the special one that works for you.
brad dryden
Ive had worse I had a co-worker wife make me a resume out for a "gravy job" at the power plant and I didn't bother to look it over and turned it in. Well she made me 2 extras and when I did look over it....it made me feel dumb BIG TIME she made TONS & TONS of spelling errors and so I made up new ones but my faul I should have check. Sorry about rambling just made me think about it.
TBow
I wouldn't worry about the "no signature" thing. Some people send resumes electronically and rarely have signatures on them. I just retired 4 months ago after 37 years with the department I worked for. I've been getting bored at home so I figured I'd dabble at part time work. I made out a resume just last week (for the first time in 30+ years) to send to a firm that requested it. Talk about nerve racking. You're trying to give an information package to a stranger (usually) about your work related history and demonstrate your good work ethics in a one page document. You sometimes tend to go off on a tangent trying to give your life story, but those are the ones a potential employer usually eye scans quickly then tosses aside. stevebeilgard
i'd call the place you sent it to, talk with the employment head, and apologize for not signing it and explain that you were so anxious that you forgot. it may go a long way.
