HUNTINGMAN
Has anyone seen or bought any of these yet? I got my new petersons hunting mag in and they had them in there. They look good but said the msrp was 90$ for a three pack. I think this is just crazy for broadheads when other more reasonably priced heads do the same thing, any thought on this? Guest bowhunter56
$90 for 3,,,,no way, alot of good broadheads out there, it's not the head, it's the shot placement..
Straight Shooter
I can buy three packs of Muzzy's for that price and have 18 heads. Don't think I'll be buying any Rages anytime soon.
Tominator
$30 per head? Why? No way.
Limbhanger
Titanium is a precious metal, but for 90.00 a 3 pack, it's not that precious.
RangerClay
$30 per head? Why? No way. Yes way! From the Rage people.... With the strength of steel at a fraction of its weight and with twice the strength of aluminum, titanium is the primary metal used in the aerospace industry due to its superb weight-to-density ratio and relatively ductile nature. http://www.ammoland.com/2010/01/14/rage-titanium-broadheads/ I'm sorry but that is nuts! Tominator
Yes way! From the Rage people.... No, as in, No way I don't see myself paying $30 for one head any time soon.
joeaveragehunter
It does seem a little or alot much, but if they can ride their ad campaigns hype and get $90, more power to em.
toddyboman
LMBO!!! I can't believe that. The sad crazy part is some will buy and use them..........NOT ME however!!
QDMAworks4me
I am sure they are nice but there is no way they are worth that much, crazy!!!
ruttinbuc
Just another example of these companies knowing there are people out there with more money than brains. You would have to be a total fool to fall for that hype...
Tom2008
I have one question. Why?
dbHunterNY
Maybe this will be the hottest thing out and make the price of the regular ones go down a little. I could then save some money. Definitely more than most would want to spend.
8ptbuckpa
i think also think the price is outrageous, but i see this being more marketed for the dangerous game, african game archer, where having something stronger would be beneficial especially on say a capebuffalo or something of that nature

The point is where does it stop?
Tom2008
Yea, I guess if you could afford a cape buffalo hunt you can afford those. The point is where does it stop? You probably arleady know this, but it won't ever stop. Archery became a money making machine years ago.

The answer to the point is where do you draw the line? That is where it stops.
Tony
i just wonder how many they will sell? with a price tag like that, they must think their is a customer base out there that wants them.. sorry there not for me, but im sure they will have some that will buy them. With the strength of steel at a fraction of its weight and with twice the strength of aluminum, titanium is the primary metal used in the aerospace industry due to its superb weight-to-density ratio and relatively ductile nature. I'll remember that next time I am on the moon hunting . As PT Barnum said..."there is a sucker born every minute". Is there a difference in the guy who uses a $5000 rifle and $1500 scope to shoot a deer that you can kill with a $250 Mossberg? NOPE...Not IMO. The ONLY broad head worth that is the one to shoot Bin Laden with.

123 4/8 P&Y
I wonder if the blades are titanium as well or just the ferrule. To me the blades of a mechanical head are the weak spot anyway.
