The_Kat
So I'm still waiting on Chrysler to get my bank the stinking lien release on this truck. My bank says maybe one more week at the most til I get to take ownership of this bad boy. Anyways I decided to settle for a leveling kit to start off with some 17 inch Helo 791 Series Rims. And I'm gonna stick some 33 inch Mickey Thompsons on them. All in all I'm looking at just under 2k ( 1876.00 ) in it. After I start back to work and if I still wanna do some more work, I'm gonna go with a 4 inch suspension lift and some 35 inch MT's. I just can't swing an extra 1200$ just in parts for the lift, not to mention labor. Also gonna run a Chrome brush guard on the front with some HUGE Spot lights, a diamond plated low profile tool box, and I am even considering running my ole CB with dual fire sticks on it. What ya think 4x4 guys?
Shaun_300
I think that's gonna look good! Too bad it wasn't a chevy though. :D

The_Kat
Sweet! That should look nice....them wheels are sharp. Where did you decide to buy the goodies from? All of that on the unemployment dime? Rim zone on the internet. Heck if you can find it any cheaper I'll send ya a case of beer lol. I looked all over! It's hard finding those rims in 5x5.5 with the 139.7 bolt circle and a negative offset. Yup, unemployment plus a small part of savings, mixed with a small fraction of a federal tax return
Ohiobucks
All of that on the unemployment dime? Unemployment? I thought it was welfare? J/K Kyle, should look pretty sweet when your done with it. How about some before/after shots?

MUDRUNNER
Actually, that's a pretty good price for those tires and wheels. The place I bought my stuff from has those wheels in chrome listed at $237 and the 33" MT Baja Claws at $267, and $100 for the leveling kit. Sounds like you're getting a pretty good deal! The_Kat
Scratch the MT's....I actually found a better deal on an ebay online store with the same rims with Nitto Mud Grapplers in 33x12.5 with 8 ply rubber for 1835.99 shipped. That includes the tires mounted and balanced on the rims. These guys have the absolute cheapest deals on rims and tires. If your looking for upgrades this is the place. Directline Wheels.....speak to Steve Hamilton. The nitto's look sweet!!!!

The_Kat
little worried about tread life....considering the terra grapplers maybe instead. I hate making big money decisions lol.
MUDRUNNER
The Mud Grapplers are a mean tire! I doubt you would get more than 20,000 miles out of them though. I had a set of 33" Terra Grapplers on a 2000 Dodge I had. They were a solid all terrain tire...good in snow, decent in mud. I actually entered into a mud bog at a fair and finished 4th out of 15 trucks. The three trucks that beat me all had Swampers. You should be able to get 35,000+ miles out of them. They just don't look as cool.
HUNTINGMAN
I know from experience that the big Nasty agressive tires look good and are great off road,I put some on my Durango and love them. On the other hand, the ride is rough and the road nois is rediculas,I have to turn my radio way up just to hear it. Those rims look sweet by the way, whichever tire you choose it will look good on those rims

The_Kat
You act like you want to get out of debt fast, bud....but you suck at the actual committment.:D:D Truck will be paid for in full in 10 weeks once I start back to work 1000$ a week payment tends to knock out a truck note fast. BTW Jenns car was paid in full within a year of it's purchase The debt I'm sluggish to payoff is my student loans..........BOO! Also I caught a decent deal on craigslist on some half lifed mud grapplers for 300$ that I just got home from picking up. Some I'm gonna try them out, and then either go with the trail or terra grapplers after they wear out.
The_Kat
Well I finally picked up the truck yesterday covered in snow . Got all parts ordered and scheduled to be installed later next week. Will have before and after pics to come. I'm only doing a simple leveling kit and 33's for now til I get the truck paid for. Once I get it paid for I'm gonna install 35's with a 6 inch suspension.
