That antler actually grew out of his eye, it wasn't broken off from a fight. Look closely and you can see the antler coming from a top of the eye and that is velvet hanging off the end.

Yep that deer's been around the net for a while. I've seen trail pics from the time that thing started growing out of his eye up through some of the caping process in the taxidermist. That is growing out of him, not sticking in.

Yep I remember seeing those very photos here on the forum....a few years back ;)

Yep, that was how the story went when this pic first starting making its way around.

Well I've heard 2 stories on this. My cousin knows a guy and has seen this deer or one that looks a lot like it. He says that the deer got into a fight and broke the antler off. The other story that I heard on here last year or 2 years ago was that this antler grew out of this deer's eye socket and a taxidermist peeled the skin off and you can see where this antler grew. I cannot remember who, but somebody posted a link to another website where these pictures were at, however I cannot remember who or what website. There was a huge discussion about it though.
