Dakota Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 I'll mainly stick here in South Dakota...might go into Wyoming when I go out to the Black Hills chasing Merriams. Overall though I plan on hunting Merriams in the Black Hills, Rios along the Missourri River and Easterns here in the riverbottoms of southeastern South Dakota. I just gained permission today to hunt a farm not 10 minutes from my house as long as I only use a bow...I am pumped. Not easy to gain permission in my neck of the woods these days! I'm pumped cause one of our friends up there shot the #3 bird with a bow in the state last year. My new bow is ready for some gobbling action.
