PotashRLS
For those that don't know yet, my wife Trisha and I are expecting and due around June 1st or so. I thought I would maybe get a head start on baby names before she hits me with a bunch I don't like. We have one son named Brady now who is 4 1/2. We don't know boy or girl, nor do I want to find out. I thought it would be nice to post something fun since we've had a lot of sad threads lately. I am open to suggestions, but serious ones only. I can get all the joke names I want from friends here . So far for a girl I like Abigail and Bella. Trisha didn't like Abigail last time. I'll try for it again. For a boy I like Adley, Beau and Boone. What do you think?
The_Kat
If Cash was a girl we were going to name him Emilynn MacKenzie. Some boy names we tossed around was Brayden, Rylan, and Stetson.
Dawg
My wife and I had the names Trevor or Tanner for a boy, we went with Trevor. Had he been a girl, it was between Alexis Brooke or Ashlyn Marie.

Adjam5
First off... Congrats to you and the Mrs Tracey! Whatever you guys have I pray it is a healthy baby . So you are going for the preemptive strike huh? I have always been fond of the name Gianna and Sophia for girls. Where I come from the boys are all named after the mans father, the 2nd boy after the girls father. Almost always they were biblical/saint names like Joseph, Anthony and Michael. Mine and my boys names:D That is why when I was young and my mother called my name out the window... 20 kids answered "What mom?":p. Names today are much more individual and unique. Again...congrats! RangerClay
My first born was a girl and she was born at peak leaf season in October. I told my wife that I like Abigail Autumn and she agreed. Good luck with you decision and I applaude you for waiting to find out if its going to be a boy or girl. PotashRLS
Our son Brady's middle name is Robert...........after both his Grandpas. So to keep them straight he calls them Little Grandpa and Big Grandpa:D. Worked out well covering both sides of the family right away. I liked Brady because it was a good baseball name...........I will teach him a good splitter and curve ball and hope for the best!!!:clown:
Alisha
I was thinking about this the other day.... and laughed to myself when I thought of our friends babies names who are all around the same age and whose names all sound so similar. Brayden, Braylen, Brycen...... I get SO confused! While those are cute, I also like Connor, Cody, Chase, and Ethan for boy names. Girl names...... Emilee, Isabella (Bella for short!), Sophia, Hailey, Gabrielle. Let us know what you decide!
Tominator
Never was into those fancy names like Brady, Adley, Beau, Boone, etc... If I had another girl she would have been Sarah Elizabeth, another boy, I would have pushed for Stanislav or Brontislav.
ruttinbuc
Lily is a nice girls name. You could add middle names to that like Lee, Ann, Beth, Jo. Emma and Angelica are also nice girl names. For boys I like the traditional names, but names like Cody, Brent, Colt, Trace, Chase, Cash and Wyatt are up there. HoosierDaddy28
Wanna hear something weird. My wife Trisha and I are having a baby in June as well (due June 24) She is having a girl (this will be our second). I want to go with the name Naomi (that is my grandmother's name) We'll see if I get my way though For those that don't know yet, my wife Trisha and I are expecting and due around June 1st or so. stevebeilgard
here's a thought: get the middle names of grandma and grandpa on both sides, and select from them. or, use both grandparents names, one middle name as a first name and the others middle name as his/her middle name. Dakota
I know I got a LONG ways 'til I need to think about this... But I've always liked Trapper for a boy's name and Amanda Lynn for a girl's name. Yep...hoping I have at least one of each! Dakota
Hoosierbuck
If I had another girl she would have been Sarah Elizabeth, I have a Sarah Elizabeth! She's pretty great. I also have a Benjamin Christopher and an Isaac Theodore. One family name I thought was really cool was my g'g'pa-Logan Kilpatrick. The tribe of Benjamin were mighty warriors, and their symbol is widely held to be the wolf (who are widely known to be good hunters). Christopher...a moment of vanity? Isaac means "he who laughs" and he does. Theodore is a doff o' the cap to T.R.-a general, president, hunter and the father of our national parks. I like biblical names and family names.
