This doesn't really mean much to me, but I use it to stir up my hardcore democrat friends because I get a kick out of it.

Time magazine man of the year list includes: Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin (a two timer), Chang Kia Shek, Hugh Johnson (that's just a funny name), and let's not forget Barrack Obama.

The list also includes George W. Bush (twice), Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, and Pope John Paul II. What's your point?

Seems to me to be a list of highly influencial men over the years. I'd be surprised to not see any U.S. president on that list.

i think the point here is, or at least should be, time magazines man of the year is most often a murdurous thug, communist dictator, and and willing to make slaves of his people. of course, they do throw in a good guy once in a while ...

I'm just kidding with ya.

By the way, my point is that it is very ironic how our views of political figures and the world in general evolves so radically. If you'll read some of the articles, you'll see what I mean. People who we now view as monsters have often painted as heroes. Another point is that you never know what is around the next corner, and when you prematurely place people on such a high pedestal, turmoil is likely in the forecast.
