buckee
I went out shed hunting yesterday (Feb 04). Didn't find any sheds, because I don't think too many have dropped yet, but I did get some video and pic footage. Here is a video I took of a poor wounded doe yesterday, who got hit by a vehicle no doubt. I hope she heals up OK. I slowly circled around her to get this footage. I could have easily ran her down, and put her out of her misery, but I'll let God & Nature decide her fate.

buckee
Yeah, it was a tear jerker to see her hobbling around like that Ross.:(
ruttinbuc
She looks healthy enough except for the bad hip. I imagine she would get along pretty well if she can still outrun her predators. Amazing instinct's to survive for sure.
Tominator
Almost looks like she's paralyzed the way she's carrying that leg. Unfortunate.

She's in bad shape.

I have seen cripples here that I was surprised to see the next season though.
RTPROFamily
We saw a small buck from a distance that was shot in the front leg about 2 years ago.We know he was shot because our neighbor said he didn't get a deer that year but he said I shot one in the leg! Like he was proud! That buck is still walking around. It is amazing how they can adapt and survive at the same time.

Adjam5
Amazing how they adapt. When she squatted she looked like every other doe out there. Outside of the leg/hip issue she looks somewhat healthy. Nature will take its course.
