Dakota
With the economy as it is and everything everyone has obviously taken a hit no matter what your career is. I'm young and I've felt it too; I go to tech school part-time (pay all out of my own pocket), have a car loan, car insurance and student loans from my year spent at a university. When I'm not at school, I'm working hard usually. However I tend to have many weekends and Tuesday and Thursday nights (Thursday is my bowhunter league) off. As you can imagine, I'm a poor college student and am essentially living pay-check to pay-check and don't have a whole lot of money to pay for taxidermy. I would like to learn more about taxidermy to save some money and have a small hobby on the side where I can make some money as well. Do you have anybody working for you a couple days a week, not for money, but for discounted or free taxidermy since they do part of it themselves? I'm thinking about contacting my taxidermist and asking him if he could use any help around the shop and that I'm willing to learn as much as I can. Does this sound unreasonable or just a dream or what? Any help or advice would be great. Thanks! Dakota
RTF
I would post this question on http://www.taxidermy.net/forum/index.php Many like you are in the same boat, and there are taxidermist who look for individuals such as yourself.
