Strut10
Finally got a whole raft of clear pics of a buck I posted (1 foggy picture of) a couple weeks ago. I'm really pumped for the 2010 archery season knowing that I've got breeding stock like this servicing all my does. Funny, but nobody I know of saw this deer through 3 1/2 months of deer season. Ain't he a peach???

Tominator
Wouldn't he be legal to shoot? Take him out. It would be interesting to see what he looks like next year.

He has 4 points on the one side. So he is legal. And, unless he steps out in front of a coal truck or something, we should see what he looks like next season. All deer seasons are closed here, now. So he's a survivor. My money is that he'll look just like he does now only a bit wider and with more mass. Can't see him suddenly sprouting tines on that right side if he hasn't done it yet. dbHunterNY
I've been told it takes a lot to get unwanted genetics out of your herd. You've got to take many doe and "cull" bucks each year. Also, it's hard as heck to keep those really nice but young deer from getting shot. Regardless it'd only do good to get that guy out of the herd. So best of luck with that.
Adjam5
Cool rack, but you don't want them genes spreading for sure. I love non typ's. Much more character. Looks like a 2 maybe 3 1/2 yo.
