Muff
Well as most of you know the story about my wife's Ins company screwing her around we now have to go to Toronto in the morning so she can see one of their doctors.....to top things off its right down town....so I said the heck with it and got us train tickets to go up and back....that will be a little less stress on her and I since we are both over the top with it now its the easy way to go......anyway I guess what I am asking is that you give a thought out to my wife tomorrow morning because I know this is going to be a VERY hard day on her....thanks

stevebeilgard
have a safe, comfortabel, and stress free trip. this can actually be good quality time with the wife. enjoy. i find it difficult to believe that the insurance company is screwing around. all ours down here have the same story.... you are covered for everything except that which went wrong. in short, you are not covered for anything. insurance companies choose to employ a gaggle of attorneys with the sole job of denying coverage of what went wrong. pretty sad, and i see a big change coming. TBow
If you hop into the club car, have a few barley sandwiches and some munchies, the trip will be far less stressful. Toronto eh? I always hated going to Toronto. When I worked that area, we either stayed in Oshawa to the east, or pushed on through to Burlington or St. Catherines to the west. We had to work downtown near the lake sometimes, but just got our work done and got the heck out of there. If we were just passing through, we'd always take the 407 and jump off onto 400 and check out Bass Pro. Gots'ta make the best of a bad situation. All the best to your wife. Insurance companies are an evil neccessity for sure! Difficult to deal with them on most claims, but look where we'd be without them, even with all the hassles and hair pulling. buckee
I can't stand the big city either. God be with you both.
Shaun_300
That sucks Joe, the only reason I like Toronto is the CN Tower, the International Auto Show and Bass Pro Shops. It is one peach of a city to drive in! You did the right thing by taking the VIA train! Hope everything goes well bud.

Muff
Well the trip is over...the train was on time and we got there and back with out a problem....If you ask me it was a TOTAL waste of time.Lisa was with the doctor less than 30 min. what the heck is he going to find out in 30 min????? The Ins company got it put to them this day.....paying for the trip food and parking plus taxi....all for 30 min....looks good on them....anyway home now and its over with and I don't care if I see downtown Toronto for another 10 years or so. redkneck
Sorry to hear the trip was a waste Joe. I don't blame you for the train, that traffic on the 401 sux, and the only time I went down to the CN tower I didn't think I'd ever get out of there! buckee
Don't feel too bad Joe, it could be worse. I have to go down to Victoria once every 6 months. It's a whole days travel, with 3 hrs down and 3 hrs back, for the same 20 minute appointment. I drive all that way just to have a doctor stick his finger up my butt and tell me I'm OK. (be gentle on me mods:D) Glad you made it back home safe and sound.
