Newarcher
I am not much on stock Harleys but that thing is smoking hot, I like that. Now I see the pics you posted. Wife's hot....you are ugly .....lots of responsibility standing between you two and the bike. Please be careful. T'wood be a shame to retire and get run over by some texting teenager. Congrats! Now you just gotta move somewhere warm enough that you can ride it more than 2 weeks a year! Newarcher
Texting teenagers scare the heck outta us... Me too and I got lots of air bags to save me. Simple solution really.....if the phone is within 10 feet of a running vehicle, texting is disabled. That or put a cell phone scrambler on the vehicle to disable texting. We've lost a lot of teens down here. Great looking bike my friend. Is that your garage? If so, I am more jealous of that than the bike! m gardner
That's alot of motorcycle there! Congtrats. As for the safety wishes and warnings forget it. You just aren't safe on a motorcycle plain and simple. That's the allure of the beast. Be alert. Learn how to fall gracefully. You'll survive. As for waiting for good weather I rode year round and I lived in N.Y., Vermont and Colorado. BMW and Metzler tires do well on ice. Last bone I broke was 3 years ago in Grand Junction, Co. Went down on grooved ice. Just a small bone in my foot though. There's two classes of riders. Those that have gone down and those that haven't yet. God bless. Swamphunter
As for the safety wishes and warnings forget it. Thanks for the info, but I am not new to motorcycles.. been riding since I was 16, I am now almost 42. Yes I have been down. This is not a midlife crisis for me, 26 years of riding has led me through 4 bikes, this one being my second Harley.

m gardner
Good to hear you're a real biker. Just remember if you come out west don't ride too long behind cattle trucks. Don't lick your lips either it's not rain. Mark

TBow
Although I like getting surprise gifts from the family, I've always found that when I get a gift to me from me, I always seem to get just exactly what I want. I think if memory serves me right, I got a couple to me from me gifts last fall when I retired too. I will admit though, mine weren't as big and as flashy as your new toy! Looks like you got a "to me from me" gift too! SAWEEEEEEEETTTTTTT! Remember, there's only two kinds 'o motorcycle riders, "thems that's been down and then there's thems that's goin' down"! Here's hopin' that you keep 'er between the weeds and keep her upright! TBow
