cutter10x
just got me a 243... was wondering what kinds of loads you guys/gals were using for yotes... and deer to for that matter if you happen to use it for both....thks
Jeramie
I use it for both. Ive shot both antelope and deer with the 100grn Winchester. I have also hand loaded 100grn hornady btsp. For varmint im loading 75 grn Hornady Vmax.. All fly incredibly accurate. I would prefer the Remington corelokt for deer but they dont shoot worth a dang out of my Ruger. Corelokt are a cheap round but get great expansion and are deadly.
wtnhunt
Wife shoots core lokts in 100 grain out of her savage model 10, and my oldest daughter uses 100 grain win power points out of her browning, that is for deer. I have dropped a few yotes with the wifes .243 using the core lokts, those were head shots though.
Prairiepredator
I use a 100 grain for coyotes or deer.

huntinman802
i use 85 gr. hollow points. and with those rounds i can shoot a knat off a flys butt at 400 yds. when yotes get hit with it they freeze up and fall right there. and ive shot over 25 deer with it and only 3 have taken a step after they were hit. RangerClay
I use Hornady Custom 95 gr. SST Interlock. I was deer hunting last fall when this bad boy tried to sneak out the back door.
