redkneck
Yeah, I'm sick of it too. Mostly the wet, not the cold. Supposed to get some sleet here in the AM, and possible snow accumulations by Friday.

dogdoc
It's amazing as summer gets close to ending we are begging for the arrival of winter and cold weather to get those big bucks moving and now that deer season is over we can't stand it. We had a nice winter storm also here in Oklahoma today. I'm ready for some spring turkey hunting and fishing myself.

jbeck
Warmest winter on record here. we are kicking global wormings butt here, I'm using hair spray again, trying to enlarge that hole in the ozone. Just kidding, we are getting a bunch of snow. But the girls are enjoying it and I still have fire wood so life is good.
Adjam5
Spring cannot be far away. To heck with the groundhog telling us when it is coming. I like to use the birds we get in the yard as a barometer how close spring is. AND...we had sparrows here today bringing twigs and grass into bird houses we have in the yard. I know they don't get energy tax credit for that , so spring must be on its way.

We had a nice winter storm also here in Oklahoma today. I'm ready for some spring turkey hunting and fishing myself. I couldn't agree more. The wisest man I know once told me don't wish your life away. (ie. I'm sick of winter , I wish it where spring". "I sure wish it was deer season I can't wait to hunt.") There are a lot of good thigs that can happen to you today. You can also go out and make some new fun things. This is a great time to hunt coyotes. I usually catch up on my reloading. My point is, Life is short enough, take advantage of everyday you have. Your happiness depends on you, not on the weather. :gun2:
elkoholic
Sure is a strange winter for sure. Here in northwest Montana we are having a very mild winter and it only gets milder the further west you go. They have been trucking in snow for the winter games in Vancouver for the past couple of weeks and if they do not get a miracle of a snow storm this weekend they may have to cancel some events. The lack of mountain snow pack does not bode well for this spring and summer as low stream and river flows are not a good thing along with increased forest fire potential. With four to six weeks left in the winter season there is still a chance for a substantial snow fall but the long term forecast does not look that way. For those getting "dumped" on, enjoy it, get out and play in it, drive carefully, and at the very least it gives you something to talk about. stevebeilgard
is it only me laughing, or have others enjoyed the southerners (who normally call for more snow) asking for a repreive and the canadians saying "send it up here"? lol aaahhh, the sweet irony.
