Eagles and others...

Went to the river to see if the eagles would be out fishing, was lucky and found a pair. I hope one day I'll go and it'll be nice and sunny. All pics taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikon 200-400 lens.

Should have a fresh snow cover in the morning - might make for some neat pics.

Take care

Thanks ruttinbuc, these are all hand held. This lens has vibration reduction on it which helps a lot. Still would be a lot better with some good sun so I could get a higher shutter speed.

Yes, the higher shutter speed would really give them punch. I was checking out a lot of stuff at B&H in NYC a few weeks back. Mind boggling to say the least and quite an expense. The image stabilization is well worth it for sure.

Are you selling any of your stuff or strictly a hobby? I see some people making serious coin on sites like shutterstock.com.

Keep up the great work! ;)
