jbeck
Please advise your brother, as well as yourself, if there is ever a misuderstanding I will do my best to handle it honorably before I would resort to running away screaming like a little girl. jaret
Wow... People these days... And Walmarts didn't bother asking the perp if he had a receipt? High priced item and they just let it walk out the door?! That really baffles me. Sounds to me some loading guys or greeters need some more training. Swamphunter
Can't the police press their own charges? No, not without statements from the victims.. it's grand larceny. Its petit larceny because it was valued less than one thousand dollars and the property did not consist of a credit or debit card, was not a firearm, or a motor vehicle valued at more than $100.00. He would have had an attempted petit larceny (misdemeanor) and a harassment 2nd (violation).
stcif
Doesn't suprise me a bit. Makes you wonder if this was a crime of opportunity or this guy's M.O. People do much worse than that every day. People like that make me sick. Unfortunately the guy will get arrested, pay a small fine, and be right back at it. He's probably on probation to begin with.
