ladyluck
I currently have a Remington 870 express pump. It has worked wonders for many years. Last year my pump was sticking so I need to have it taken apart and cleaned inside and out. Thought it also might be fun to get a new gun for turkey season this year. Was looking at the Benelli Nova but it was brought to my attention that the pump gets sloppy and noisy. Has anyone had issues with the Nova pump? ny_gun
I have had the Nova (12 gauge) for about 6 years. Yes, the pump is a little sloppy compared to my 870 slug gun but I don't believe it has gotten worse or noisier since I have had it
AdrianJHare
I own the 20 gauge and yes it is a little sloppy, but noughting you will have any trouble with. I'll never shoot anything else. If you look down the forum under 20 gauge threads you will find the patterns I'm getting with this gun... dbHunterNY
I hunt now with a Benelli Supernova 12ga and have had no issues, although there is a tad bit of play. I've found that in many shotguns out there. I'd imagine it's pretty similar to the Nova 20 ga.
