dbHunterNY
So while at the Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg, PA this past weekend I got my girlfriend Jess some customized Victory V-Force carbon arrows. We stopped to talk with this gentlemen at his booth, right after talking with Chris Brackett at the booth next to him. He didn't have anything Jess really wanted so Jess was telling him what she'd want and then we said we'd most likely be back to see about custom ordering some. Well apparently that night he dug through his supplies and built some to her specs, because when we went back to see him first thing the next morning the arrows were there and Jess was sold. lol So she also got a dozen custom arrows for V-day. Sorry for the long post. Here they are...

CampWildGirls
Does she like pink gear? I am always wondering if gals like the pink or not? I don't like the peto pink but those are sweet!
ruttinbuc
I know one thing. Pink really shows up on a black face target or when entering a deer! I used to have hot pink nocks on some aluminum awhile back...Nice looking arrows!! So what did Chris Brackett have to do with all this, anyway? Nothing really other than I stopped to talk to him and it gave Jess a chance to notice the other booth and go look. At times the areas of the show are so packed you may not see something at a booth with all the people.

CampWildGirls
I am thinking about the V-force pink arrows for breast cancer. I am not a big fan of pink either. Just not sure. These I really like but the other ones are pink all the way down.

dbHunterNY
I thought maybe he made the recommendation. I saw his booth in the hallway there. Yea Mike he didn't recommend them, and I mean he had know way of knowing we would be interested in them so I think it just didn't come up. The convo just gave Jess a chance to look at the booth and then I figured it'd give people who were there an idea of where we found them. After we got them another prostaffer/media personality spoke highly about V-Force arrows, because he saw Jessica holding them while we were talking. My convo with Brackett was more about why he switched from Mathews to Diamond, along with other things. He said that when someone sees him on his show using Diamond bows and then see how you could pick one up for $300, they would be more inclined to get into the sport. Now the Iceman is not that cheap, but the Diamond Edge bow package is an awesome starter bow I got Jess two years ago.
Diamond Archer 01
I had the diamond edge. It was a really great starter bow for me and I liked it a lot for my first bow.

We were going to get them, but we got these arrows cheap and Jess could have something very personalized. She saw them and had to have them! lol Onestringer and Battledrum arrow wraps I believe do both have wraps with a breast cancer ribbon on them showing you support the fight against it. That's an alternative. There are some 3D shoots/fund raisers we're probably going to attend too. I'm sure there are some in your area and other products if you choose not to get the pink arrows. They're a great idea though!
