Cliff passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends. He was a devoted husband to his best friend Linda, and the World’s Greatest Daddy to his treasured daughters Jolene and Wendy. Cliff leaves behind countless family members in Ontario, Alberta and BC, and will be dearly missed by all. Cliff was an avid hunter, champion trapshooter, snowmobiler, commercial fisherman, dedicated volunteer, certified farrier, equestrian, mechanic, hockey player, pilot, scuba diver, farmer, stock car driver, wine maker, bartender and chef extraordinaire (Pink Panther Pancakes and Whistlepigs). Cliff was a man to be admired who lived life with ageless energy. We have lost an original.

At Cliff’s request there will be no service. Flowers are gratefully declined; however, donations can be made in Cliff’s memory to either of the following organizations of which he was a lifetime member: The BC Wildlife Federation (Unit 101 - 3060 Norland Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5B 3A6), or The Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia (#101-30799 Simpson Road, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6X4).

Rest in peace Cliff.

Thank you Steve and thank you all. We have lost a good friend. He was one of us, in so many ways.

My biggest regret now, is, not getting together with him for a hunt over the last many years since we fished together on his boat. I could kick myself for that, because I always wanted to, but kept putting it off.

This is how I will remember him.
