Kent Shotshells

I have not personally tested them.

I have heard reviews on them, both very good and very poor........not unlike any other brand, really.

Winchester makes the Supreme in 2 3/4" length with #4, #5 and #6 shot. It's a 1 1/2 oz. load at 1300 fps. I have shot some of these at paper and found them to be quite impressive.

I've tried their 3" 2oz of #5's and they patterned great out of a .665 sized choke. Haven't tried their 2 3/4oz loads.

Kent was the company bought out the old "Activ" shot shell company many years ago, and they use to produce those 3" 2 1/4oz Penetrator loads. Don't think you'd go wrong with trying those Kent 2 3/4oz loads.

maytom-----That's what I was thinking. I used those Activ shells-----best shell I ever patterned bought every box the store had. But they ran out a few years ago & could never find anymore. Think I may stock up on these Kents.

The old Activ shells had 1 3/4 oz of shot in there 2 3/4" shells. I used 4's, 6's & 4x6-----smoked them gobblers. CB
