buckee
I think Doog lives the closest. We're not that far away, but the expense is out of the question right now. We're watching it on TV though.
doog3
yup closest but nope not going way to pricey for most of things and like buckee said we can watch it all on tv and a few things have been cancelled due to very warm temps and lack of snow. we were sitting at 60 f today and some areas hit 65 degrees today Edited February 19, 2010 by doog3 missed some stuff

Canuck2
Hey to the other non-olympic attendees. I've been conscientiously boycotting the whole fiasco since I believe it affects way too many local citizens adversely; for example, vast sums of money used for the 15 day party for rich folks could have been useful for health care, education, and so on. Besides, it has been easy to avoid it since I've been here in California since mid January. On the negative side, I sure picked the wrong winter to get away from the snow and cold. doog3
we were in california in dec went to disneyland it poured rain and was yucky weather and was even cool in laughlin and vegas. i agree with u on that they have spend way to much money on the whole thing they even closed the schools too which is silly,so in my eyes there should be no spring break.it is nuts around here so many roads u can't go on they even shut them down mths before the games started. some of the events are cancelled for good and folks will get their money back as long as they didn't buy them from someone who sold them on craigs list then they won't be refunded
