JimT
To start thinking about deer hunting? I am off to NC in October for my first hunt down that way. Very much looking forward to it.
huntinman802
no way! its never too early to start thinking about hunting. i already miss sitting out in a cold blind and its only been about a month and a half.
Dakota
I used to be a big deer hunter, but ever since I started hunting antelope in 2007 I've been hooked! I'm still looking forward to archery and muzzleloader season, though.
BearClaw
Too early? Do we ever stop? I'm getting cabin fever! The snow is too deep out in the woods to go for a walk and you can't get close to the rivers to fish. I think I'm going to snow-blow a path out back today so I can go out and shoot my bow! ohiobuckhunter
i'm allready out cutting and cleaning areas up for next years shooting lanes. it's so much easier to do it now and not in 90 degree heat and 4 foot high weeds
92xj
What part of NC are you going to be hunting?
sskybnd
never to early, we have 1 weekend left, but decided on calling it a season, but before we left the lease, we moved a few stands to better locations, and maked a few locations that we will go back in a few weeks to clear for food plots, plenty of work to be done before next season. unioncountyslayer
It's definitely a year round thing for me. I have a couple of leases here in NC, so there's always something to do, and it keeps the anticipation up!
ChrisSeb53
nah it's not too early.. just sounds like you're a true sportsman... I'm thinkin' about it the day after it ends... Can't wait for the upcoming season cause we're leasing some new property!
Rhino
Heck no! One of the best times to scout is now. When I wasn't listening/scouting for turkeys this past weekend I was burning boot leather doing post season scouting for next year's deer season. joeaveragehunter
Deer hunting only crosses my mind when food plotting escapes me for a minute or two during the day.
Jeramie
Nope, not at all... I keep checking Oklahoma's drawn hunt pages.... I cant enter until April but I look anyway. I keep hopeing they open it early.
