Turkeygirl
Left the house today about quarter to 12pm...got home at 4:30pm. No pics on the trail cam but finally, after battling this gusty wind and having a squirrel get away and a grouse flush ahead of me, I put my 3rd Ruffed Grouse EVER on the ground! Walked in to these hemlocks where I have flushed them before, I stopped for a second and next thing I know hear something, even in the wind, coming in on wings, look up and here comes a Grouse right over the top of me, don't know if it was landing or taking off but I swung my gun up and with one shot it hit the ground, I fist pumped and said "Thank you God!" I was so excited, lol! It's in the refrigerator, going to be dinner tomorrow night along with that pheasant I saved that was a road pick-up a while back, lol

Tominator
Yummy. I've only shot 1 of those things, that was way back in the 80's when I was stationed in PA.
92xj
Good looking bird. I have only killed one. It took me 10 minutes to take my grill off the jeep to get him out in only two pieces. Cooked up nicely! What are your plans with those tail feathers?
