joeaveragehunter Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 Despite the fact that EVERY single person I talked to told me it was a horrible idea, I went ahead and did it anyway. My GF and I went up north to visit relatives and we went to check on the hunting land and maybe look for some sheds. I have had this ring for three weeks+ and just hadn't found the right time to pop the question. I thought where better than my favorite place in the world...the food plots. We were kissing and I asked her to marry me and she laughed and said yup, how about tomorrow? I pulled out the ring and said how about today? She cried, we hugged. I thought I might throw up. It wasn't the most romantic or well thought out plan but she loved it and I couldn't be happier. I got a girl that loves hunting and me and I feel so blessed.
