Griz
I have a Mossberg 835 that I use for Turkey Hunting. I have a Limb Saver on it now but this thing has got to go... For some wierd reason it's real sticky and it's like it's breaking down or something... Never seen one do this before... Anyway I am wanting to find a super good recoil pad for my Turkey Gun... Does anyone have any ideas... Thanks Griz...
MichiganHunter
dont know...I have 2 limbsavers on 2 guns and have never had that issue. They do have a tacky feel to them. you might take some photos and write limbsaver and see if they will replace it. best of luck

I'm not sure why some of them do that. I've got a few other guns with Limbsavers on them and they don't have that problem. Try a Hi Viz X-Coil Redi-Fit pad. They make one for your 835 (make sure you pay attention to the selection notes, there are two sizes for the 835). I've got one on my Browning Gold turkey gun. It's a great pad. bluelund79
Leo has a great tip with the Hi Viz, if not Pachymer makes a real nice pad too. I did a grind to fit for my Silver Reserve, and its been real nice for the 3 years I have had it. Never had any issues with the Limbsaver on my 935 though, you may want to send an email and some pics to Limbsaver though, and see what they do for you. Keep us updated! wtnhunt
Have a limbsaver pad on my 1300 and it is doing the same thing Dale. My daughters browning the limbsaver pad is fine. I would have put a pachmayr on both of those guns if they had them made to fit, may end up grinding one of the pachmayr pads to fit my gun. If they have a pachmayr decelerator for your gun that would be what I would go with, they are good pads.
