Swamphunter
Re: Deep Fried Turkey Thanks Snipe, that sounds good, think I am going to give it a try! I copied and pasted it to an email and emailed to my wife for her to buy whatever ingredients we don't already have.

Guest goose21
Re: Deep Fried Turkey i try that alor but what i do is first cut the turkey into small chunks and then i dip it into an egg. after that i then roll it in Andy's Fish Seasoning. it is awesome. i know it sounds kinda gross with fish seasoning but it is awesome. try it sometime

WaCoyote
Re: Deep Fried Turkey Deep fried turkey is good without injecting anything into it too!! Just a little salt & pepper and some gravy, and it's go time. Deep fried turkey can't be beat. I was just going to try to inject plain butter just to give it a little something this year. Sometimes the injection sites are a touch overpowering. I gotta go eat breakfast. Thanks to you I'm drooling and my stomach is growling now! Snipe
Re: Deep Fried Turkey If you want just a plain one ...The best one I had done was by a chef in the Dallas area. He is a friend of my neighbors Items you need. 12-16 Lb. Bird 5 Gal. Bucket 1 cup of salt Fill bucket about half way... Add salt and dissolve in the water... set bird in and cover ...Leave in salt water over nite or up to 24 hours... Cook as would any other bird and I think you will be really surprised how juicy and moist it is..And the flavor is great too... Enjoy Guys.... longislandhunter
Re: Deep Fried Turkey I"ve only had deep fried turkey twice and but both times I enjoyed it tremedously. I've been meaning to pick one up so I can make it myself but I just never get around to it.
