Diamond Archer 01
I was just wondering if you guys ever had a robinhood and if so how many. I figured this would be a pretty cool and interesting thread. I have had one robinhood before and it was two years ago. I will post a pic of it later. m gardner
I've had a few and just pull them apart so I have little proof. My wife on the other hand loves to save things. Even ruined things. She's been shooting a bow for 2 1/2 years and has 4. Two of them are in my arrows. Tominator
I've got one to my "credit." I never aim at the same spot anymore. Too expensive, and I'm too cheap.
Tom2008
I lost count at twenty and that was two years ago. It has been really expensive.
Muleyman
I have done it a few times but not on purpose most of the time. But one time Irobin hooded my friends arrow on purpose, but it was only from 10 yards. He was speechless. He could not believe I got it. Prairiepredator
I have only done it twice, but I have not been doing archery for that long really so I imagine I will do it some more in my lifetime. My brother and I were trying to do it at the archery club today...but we were not successful.
Diamond Archer 01
When I did it I was sighting in my bow and I got one.
Swamphunter
Ive got two... don't want anymore. Too expensive, and no point in it. 2007 2008

Bushy Tail Butcher
Bow I just made one yesterday, I was sighting in my bow at the range. I just bought me a AM 32, and have been shooting in my garage. This was only the second time I took it to the range. This was the third time I have done this, I hope I don't do it again. It's too costly, when your shooting $10.00 arrows. :jaw:
BOBKSC
I shoot a lot. I have had quite a few over the years. It is expensive. Early on it was neat. I now save the good arrow. It is dumb on my part to shoot at the same spot. If you shoot enough at the same spot it will happen too often even if you are an average shot like I am. bluelund79
I have 3, and I no longer shoot groups because of it. The first one was cool, and was with "cheaper" arrows, but the last one was with some FMJ Eastons, and it was about $30 gone in one shot.... joeaveragehunter
I have broken a few nocks and ripped fletchings off, but never actually split an arrow
NY_Bowhunter14
just a couple torn fletchings here... haven't gotten one yet...
Straight Shooter
Never have gotten one, I've busted a ton of knocks and in fact ruined an arrow this afternoon. I don't like to shoot at the same spot to much because it's like most of these guys said, it is very expensive.
jskd
So far I have 8 from 20 yards and 1 from 30 yards, still looking for that 40 yarder
Rhino
My count is 3. 2 of them were my own arrows before i quit shooting at the same spots. The 3rd was when I got one of my best friends arrows while we were both shooting at a 3D target. I don't want anymore either.

Strut10
I've ruined lots of arrows.....especially in my "aluminum years". But I've only got one full-blown Robin Hood.
layin on the smackdown
Ive robinhooded quite a few times...though i think i have only kept 6...I robinhooded my most recent last fall right before deer season i think....Its cool the first time, then after that it gets annoying - like throwing money out the window. hunter1963
Well, according to Byron Ferguson, a true robinhood is an arrow in the bullseye and another in the arrow, if that is not the case, it is just an accident.
Diamond Archer 01
My neighbor actually just had a robinhood today. Both of the arrows right in the bullseye. His name on here is bow hunter steve and I will tell him to try to post some pics.
