hunter1963
How do we know you weren't shooting at the deer.
kighty7
I have two robin hoods to my credit. Both were when I was trying. I usually do not aim at the same spot at the target. The kast one was this summer at 35 yards. It does get expensive.

Swamphunter
Well, according to Byron Ferguson, a true robinhood is an arrow in the bullseye and another in the arrow, if that is not the case, it is just an accident. I couldn't care less what Byron Ferguson "says". When I am shooting at a certain mark on a target, and shooting for a group, the tightest smallest group I am capable of, if an arrow slides inside of one already there... its a robinhood. m gardner
Well, according to Byron Ferguson, a true robinhood is an arrow in the bullseye and another in the arrow, if that is not the case, it is just an accident. I guess you got us on a technicality. I shot two into each other during the league 2 years ago. They were both in the 12 ring on the javalina. So I guess that counts? How big does the bullseye need to be? FITA big? Who the heck is Bryon Fergusen anyhow?? Mark

Missilelock
I have had lots, when I was young & dumb....just goes to prove that if you shoot enough arrows at the same spot, they are bound to hit one another sometimes. Truthfully, most robinhoods are accidents, shot at close range & usually out of the intended bullseye. Now if there is someone out there who can stand up @ 40 yards with 2 arrows & call the shot with any regularity, my hat is off to you..... Swamphunter
Everytime I draw my bow back, I now say... "I'm going to slide this arrow right inside the other one....", now all my future robinhoods will be official.. (as per the man who makes the rules it seems), Byron Ferguson :bang:

I just thought it was funny, I had just seen Byron at the Indiana deer and turkey expo and thats one thing he said and then I read this post it just fit yeah know. He always says that.... I have never verbally called a robinhood. I have however shot for as tight a group as I can. This would in fact mean basically I was trying to hit the other arrow.... to me it counts.
