mossyhorn
So I decided it was time to work on a beach bod for the summer. I bought some stacker 2 to see if they help out. Has anyone had any luck with these things or are they a waste. Today is day 3 and I have not noticed much but energy and I feel so hungry after 2:00pm. I thought they were suppost to make you not want to eat, but by dinner I am starving. Just wondering if anyone else went through that? Jeramie
If youre burning callories then youre going to be hungry.... Personally im not a fan of the fat burning supliments. I did however have a lot of luck with Creatine. For fat burning I think about the best thing you can do is eat lean, drink LOTS of water, and cardio. There is no shortcut for hardwork.... sorry. layin on the smackdown
Just be careful with that crap....Ive read a lot of stuff on how those diet pills can have long term effects on your heart...Instead, i would decrease your daily caloric intake, and exercise at least 3 times a week....Thats what i have been doing the last 3 weeks and have cut 10 pounds so far...stick with high protein foods, low to no carbs, and water only (with the occasional exception for an adult beverage here or there). Set a limit and stick to it. I try and stay under 500 calories a day... good luck!
Jeramie
Set a limit and stick to it. I try and stay under 500 calories a day... :jaw: I thought a person could breathe and take in 500 calories a day! That seriously isnt very much. Back when I would cut hard I stuck to 1500. If youre working out too you can cut the weight with that pretty easy. The problem with 500 is at some point your body will think youre starving and start eating muscle instead of fat. You'll also be at risk of putting on more weight than youve lost if you ever go off the diet. I personally would ramp the intake up to 1500 and take the weight off slower. Its much healthier and the weight will likely stay off.
The_Kat
Fat burning pills are a lazy mans waste of money. They don't work, they're bad for your heart, and are a waste of money. If you wanna get fit, diet right...and that doesn't mean starve yourself. It means eat healthy foods. Excercise, excercise, and oh ya.......EXCERCISE! Cardio is a worst enemy for you, best friend for your body workout. High Repetition excercises! Throw those pills in the trash. If your serious about getting into shape pm me. I'll help ya with a routine and a diet plan. Let me put my good ole phys ed degree to good use.
mossyhorn
I figured maybe the would help start it out.I bought a pack of 20 just to see if it helped but I have been running of the evening and using a weight machine after. But 3 days in and if the scale is correct I have dropped 8lbs. I am eating my regular meals....I pack a lunch in the mornings(ham sandwich, mountain holler, chips, snack cake). Then when I get home a big dinner. I have cut out snacks and only drink soda with lunch and dinner. I was bad at with the pop maybe a liter and a half a day. Now it is water, water, water, sometimes milk. Oh yeah ab lounge if they work I dont know. So I am 5'9" was 172lbs. I am trying to lose this gut that has been forming ever since I stopped riding bmx. Back then I was sick looking I was so small. I am not looking to be in MMA shape but want to get somewhat ripped and have a flat stomache again. Not to be greedy but an ab or two would be great. Swamphunter
Six small meals of protein a day, lots of water, and treadmill. If you really want to shed the weight, HIT....

Phredator
Mossy, If you liked BMX you ought to consider getting a mountain bike. That's a pretty good way to get your exercise.

rad_112176
I would say if you could just stick to 1500 calories a day and a little exercise you would see it come off quicker you would think and then also teach you better eating habbits for later in life. I have been on this diet with minimum exercise and have still lost a bit of weight. I am 5'10" and weighed 200-205. I have been watching my calories for the past couple of months and now i vary from 185-190 and more to the 185 area. I am just starting to get into exercising in the evening so hopefully shed a few more before summer. Another key thing is to eat multiple meals in a day. The more you can scatter out those 1500 calories the more you will get your matabolism working for you. If you eat them all in a couple of meals then it is not as productive especially if your eating them closer to bed time. Hope this helps and good luck. Ashley
In my opinion, they aren't worth the money. I don't trust any supplement/fat burner/weight loss pills, shakes, etc. I believe that successful weight loss that burns fat and will last is exercise and careful eating. I just had a baby two months ago and I gained seventy pounds while pregnant, and I have lost forty five pounds in eight weeks from exercise and sticking to a 1200-1500 calorie diet. I started running in 2006 for recreation and I have stuck with it ever since and now thoroughly enjoy it. If you regularly exercise four to five days a week and keep yourself on a strict diet and drink plenty of water, you'll drop the weight and build muscle pretty fast.
