Dakota
I guess one of mine would be going for "victory pancakes" after a fun morning in the turkey woods. Staking out your pancake diner or cafe is just as important (maybe more) as finding the land you're going to hunt. Anyone else have any traditions involving turkey hunting? BBR12
If I am out of town. It is then a rule to have atleast 1 hot meal a day. It helps to keep the spirit up. At home the only tradition is to go whenever possible never know when he will be "right" Edited February 24, 2010 by BBR12

Strut10
I always say a prayer after i harvest any animal, always giving thanks to GOD Same here. Sometimes do a breakfast at the Country Corner. Used to hunt other states with some fellers. We'd always take a case of some very fine, very expensive malt beverage with us. Anyone shot a bird, they's be waiting at the truck for everyone to get back.....sipping on a longneck during the wait.
