Adjam5
Ben...I went and looked today. Gimme some time and the snow melt a bit. I also have a few frozen coon skulls in the freeze. You are welcome to one of them when I ship off the bones. The javelina skull has some good tusks on it. See the horse skull in the back? 92xj
Awesome! I am excited about that javelina! Horse skull by the railing?
Adjam5
Yup, that is the horse skull. It looks a bit fragile and may not be in in good shape, lets see what the thaw brings...Some of the teeth fell out of the Javelina skull, but they are all in the wheel barrow. Some clear hot glue, a little time and you'll have a secure complete set of choppers. Let the snow melt a bit and you can all if it. No lower jaws? I'll send ya all the teeth so if a tooth is missing on top and you can glue one in that fits, it might look better. The coon skull is frozen with meat still on/in it. Might even have a woodchuck skull too. From this seasons trapping/shooting. Was gonna try using an ant hill this spring to clean them off for me. This is how we display some of the smaller skulls in my son Joes room. I stained a CD storage rack. Just an idea.
92xj
CD case turned out great. My plan is to hang them on the wall if they clean up good enough. Have not figured out a good way to do it with the lower jaws, but send them on, especially if they "make" the skull. I will figure something out. I am glad I am moving into this house without the significant other. I sure would hate to ask permission to do all the things I am wanting to do. haha.
