gkinder
My wife loves hunting, she rifle hunts and crossbow hunts. She is wanting to get into bow hunting, because in KY crossbow season is only in little over month. Her draw length is around 23 1/2. Not worried about spending the money for a good bow. She's not going to out grow it now, so a good one would last. What do you all suggest?

Diamond Archer 01
Check out the diamond razor edge. Draw weight adjustment for 30-60 pounds. I had the diamond edge which is the model before this one and it is a great bow for women and younger kids. I think they run for like $350 or or so. http://www.diamondarchery.com/bow_razoredge.php And welcome to the forums!
gkinder
Is the diamond edge fast enough? We have looked at those at local store. They look more like a bow for shooting and not hunting.
gkinder
Is this bow adjustable? Like I said she's around 23-24 draw. Not sure about weight? What do these bows usually run money wise?
Diamond Archer 01
I used the edge for hunting this year and it is very capable of killing a deer. The draw length on the razor edge runs from 19 to 29 inches and 29 to 60 pounds. It is a great bow and will definitely kill a deer.
ladyluck
I have the Mathews DXT. I have also shot the Mathews Q2 and the Martin Gazelle. All good bows!
CampWildGirls
I shoot a Parker Micro pheonix but it is a compound not a crossbow.
Turkeygirl
Have her go with you to the bow shop and try out some bows...The best one will be what she feels fits her the best andshe can handle. I shoot an 06' Hoyt Rintec XL....great bow. They didn't produce it after 06 but Hoyt has some fine bows. Also Matthews I believe came out with a ladies bow as well. Alot of the companies make ladies/youth bows.
