My sisters car is covered in snow and you can barely see it, lol. Well, I am going snowboarding today at my friend's house. What are your guy's plans for today? All day yesterday we were getting big wet flakes that didn't stick to the wet ground. Couldn't imagine what it would be out there if it had. Phredator Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 Last weekend was a big snow event for much of Southwestern Colorado. We tried to drive to the top of the Grand Mesa to watch some sled dog trials but got stopped short of the top by an avalanche across the highway. Grand Mesa got about 36" on top of the 100" already on the ground. We were far enough away and it was still snowing hard so my picture isn't too great but you can clearly see the fracture line where the avalanche started. A couple of snowmobiles made the mistake of losing momentum and getting stuck, I'll bet it took a while to get it back on top. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
