Shaun_300
I can't wait to see a video of that turbo engaging. You might use a helmet with the seatbelt lol! Here's a little music for your ears Kyle, mine will sound exactly like this, have the same BOV. This guys truck was just stock engine, 5.3L which is 300hp stock with the turbo at 10psi. Made around 450hp on boost. Mine is a 5.7L 405hp stock, around 480hp with cam, same amount of boost. Should be 600 or so with the turbo. http://www.lsxvideo.com/view_video.php?viewkey=1059396431415e770c6d I found the kit at Benson's Auto Parts Extra, costed me $89.99. Very easy to wire up, they give you a relay and all that crap, but I just cut the power wire for my stock horn, ran a longer wire on the same circuit to the other side of the truck and powered the compressor, grounded it on a bolt under the hood. HAHAHA OH and the new motor looks like it will be nice LOL yeah I didn't say eh, eh? Weird because I say it all the time. eh. Swapped clusters to a US cluster so everything is in imperial. Canadian clusters have oil pressure in KPa, temp in celcius, all that crap. Now I have my oil pressure in PSI, temp in F. Also like MPH better than Km/h, even though our speed limits are in Km/h here. Know both imperial and metric off the top of my head so it doesn't matter.
