Adjam5
Sorry I haven't posted this here. It don't help us none, but it is good to know your team member knows where the turkeys are:D. My son Michael(13) scored this past Sunday( NYS Youth Turkey season) on a mature Tom, that had a 9" beard 3/4" spurs and was in the 18 lb range. As soon as the rain lightend up we hit the woods. Hats off to my oldest son Joe(18) for the wonderful calling he did on all the birds we worked that weekend. Too bad he is on another team here at Realtree. elnor
Congrats to you and your boys, that is fantastic! As for me, I haven't gotten back into the woods because I've been spending time with my newest turkey hunter in training, Ben, who was born April 20th. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. Not sure at this point if I'll squeeze in one more trip before the season closes May 6th. Either way, it's been quite the April for me! Good luck to everyone who's still (or getting ready to be) after them.

Adjam5
No skunk for me guys. Started hunting at 5:30 this morning and ended a long hunt at 3:50. 10" beard, 1" spurs, 19 pounds. Ill get story and pics up sometime this weekend. WooHoo! That is a nice bird... Congrats! I was out again this weekend with my sons and my son Joes GF. She enjoyed herself and had a great time. We had a yote come in to our dekes. It was very cool the way it stalked the B Mobile and hen, and then spooked when it picked up the human scent on the dekes. I got it on a video for a little bit. Then I lost it in the woodline. Too bad it wasn't in season...it was about to become a good yote. I'll be at it again next weekend. Good Luck team Again...Congrats Rhine on a good Tom. Adjam5
I have been out with my sons a few more times. Got some great video of a vote that came in to our dekes and took off like the dickens when he smelled us. My oldest son and his girlfriend attempted a double yesterday morning. His bird stayed down and hers got back up and took off on her . She was all upset. It was her first turkey opportunity also. My son Joe, his girlfriend Melissa and my youngest son Mike with the bird Joe took yesterday morning. 5"beard/ 1/2"& 3/8 spurs. I will be back up there again this weekend with my boys trying for my Tom and hoping to put up some points for the team.
