MichiganHunter
Hey, Ok so I have a remington mdl 700 sps blued barrel and plastic stock. It's chambered in 30-06. I've only ever fired the gun maybe 60 or 80 times. It has the internal magazine and and elevated cheak pad. It also has a bushnell 3-9 x 40mm scope. Jeramie
If I had the cash we would be talking more my price. Go to www.gunbroker.com. Look for that same rifle but only take into account the rifles with bids on them. The prices will be all over the map but the rifles with bids will give you a better line to go off of. I typically bookmark the rifles I want to watch, see what it sells for, and then you have somewhere to start. Locally I can find those from $350 - $450. I picked up that same rifle a few years back for $300 but I also bought a shotgun off of the guy. I later sold it for $375.00 and could have likely held out for $400. Jeramie
Fyi, the only guns I could find with bids were under $300. That doesnt mean they will end under $300. There were several at $400 without a single bid.
wtnhunt
Wal mart here used to sell adl's around the $400 range new not all that long back. Think depending on what you need out of it I would probably start at $300 and adjust your asking price up or down depending on the condition and how bad you need or want to sell it. Just a suggestion, but you might consider how you rate the gun and figure a percentage number, like say 90% percent for excellent condition and figure that times what you gave for the gun. Might give you a good starting point.

Thats a good point I would say the gun is at 90% of new condition so I guess I will start in that area

Jeramie
The 710 isnt a very good rifle compared to the 700, you are correct. The 710 flopped (for the most part) and was then "upgraded" to the 770. Same gun, different look. If you just looking for a rifle to kill a deer/ elk/ moose, etc. they are fine but dont expect quality when you buy one. As far as the scope, on an individual basis you can sale a scoped gun and do ok. Take that to a gun show and you might as well pull the glass off. Most people dont recognize the scope unless its a high end scope.

It might help sell the gun for a fair price though.
