Rhino
Welcome to the forums. Made my 2nd scouting trip this past Sunday. Rain kept me out of the woods Saturday. Heard 5 birds gobbling Sunday morning. 3 were right where I'd killed birds in the past. Listened to them until they bunched up close to where I've set up and killed birds in past seasons. Then I backed out but before I could get to my truck a bird gobbled on the ground between me and the truck. I froze next to a tree while he gobbled his way off to the south. I listened to his travel pattern until he quit gobbling. Got a couple of options in that general area now. I'll hit the woods this weekend to try to pattern some other birds I heard the previous weekend.

Rhino
Good luck. I plan to be out there Friday and Saturday morning. It's supposed to be clear, calm, and warm up a bit here by then.
Limbhanger
Haven't had a chance to get out and listen here. We still have over a foot of snow on the ground. So it would probably be a waste of time right now, as the Toms have nothing to really gobble about?
