Thank GOD for the strength he gives the little one's to get through these things. Nothing makes a parent realize how really powerless and out of life's control they are like their child being sick. Still praying for you little Cash. You got a lotta hunting and fishing to do with your old man little buddy. Make him frazzled when you're not sick. It'll annoy him much, much more. Keep your chin up guys. He'll be ok.

Well we made it home. He is a completely different kid from what he was 24 hours ago. He normally eats a 6 ounce bottle every 2-3 hours with a can of baby food at brunch, lunch, and supper. In just the last hour he's downed 18 ounces, and ate his can of prunes. Just left a monster diaper and is laughing his butt off because of it. I'm glad to see the lil man doing better. He got a good amount of fluids from the hospital and some antibiotics and now he is going to get some more here at home. Follow up on Friday. Thanks for all thoughts and prayers!

Glad he's doing better! Poor kid.

Any temp over 100 in an infant is not good....104 is dangerous...lucky he did not go into a seizure...Little ones dehydrate so quickly and with their immune system, kidneys, and everything still developing, they can't fight as well. Keep a good eye on him:)

Because of the H1N1 scare this past summer, I was sending kids home with temps at 100...can't take a chance.
