TBow Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 I had a few friends over tonight for a visit (cause the bride is in Ottawa overnight) and I pulled out some moose pepperettes and smoked sausage for munchies. Mmmmmmmmmmm good! I got about 100 lbs of pepperettes and sausage made in Cobden last fall and I'm slowly whittlin' my way through the cache of meat. Wobbly_Alaska Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 Good stuff for sure!!!... we just finished making a 30lb batch of smoked summer sausage's and about 45 lb of Italian sausages last week.(?ish) only thing we dont make here at the house is the linked sausages... ( hate messing with casing) but have about 50 lbs each years turned into pepper sticks and hunter snacks we put two moose in the freeze this year, and and here ya on the whittling it down. we are down to one about one left... it goes so fast Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
