Wobbly_Alaska
i am looking into trading away or growing into a new bow this year and am really eyeballing the Mathews X7.. i really only bow hunt on the north slope where the tallest vegetation is about 2 inches high winds and always cool... i have been shooting a martin MV2 for several years now and most recently switched to FOBs rather then vanes but my short brace height makes shots beyond 65 yards difficult.. i would like to get out to 80 with a good accuracy and i know the Mathews can do just that... BUT being a new bow i would like to hear any cold whether reports or problems anyone has had with their new bows. they are just starting to arrive here in AK so there is no winter time to play with them . my martin i felt good down to -30 with out problems. and well....... face it you guys had more winter then we did sooooooooo i have to ask down south for cold wx reports;) BTW who esle have given FOBS a try? Diamond Archer 01
I can't help you with the bow and I have never shot FOBS. I know someone who does shoot FOBS tho and he likes them.
