dbHunterNY
So my bow is done from being in the shop. I had a biscuit changed out for a QAD ultrarest Pro HD drop-away and I changed out my peep with a G5 meta peep. I'm shooting it tomorrow night after work. We'll see how well it improves my groups. I got the girlfriend a QAD for her bow as well. I let the bow tech put an orange D-loop on her pink and black bow though and ended up getting yelled at. lol Oops
camoman1
I think you will like the QAD and the G5, lots of guys, including myself have the same thing....I love em!
BearClaw
I'm very interested in how you like the QAD. I just put a META peep in mine and thinking about switching to a QAD.

I'll let you know after I've shot with it a little. First impressions without having shot it yet are good though.
The_Kat
They are a breeze to tune. Setup mine up myself without a tuning level. The timing line and cable connection is handy.

Swamphunter
The only thing that I am not sold on is basically having to "c 0c K" it each time. I think at my age, that is something I could easily forget. :hammer1:

dbHunterNY
So tonight I shot for a couple hours. I think I really like how the blue G5 peep sticks right out to center the black window and glo ring. Also, the rest seems to be tightening my groups. When I didn't have a little target panick from trying to kick the rust off, I usually had the arrow shafts touching at 20 yards. All things said I do believe I like both additions to my setup. BowJoe
I have the QAD Ultra on my bow and let me tell you... I loved it. Of course I was shooting FOB's with it too though. I learned real fast not to shoot it at the same target. Busted a few FOBs right outta the gate. I sighted it in from a treestand and had it shooting deadnuts within 30 shots out to 50 yds. Only problem with it was it kept coming back up and snibbing the FOB at the end. I kept shaving the hair from the felt off and eventually, it would sorta peel away. If I had my druthers, I'd have bought the LD version and avoided the whole problem. Lock Down is the way to go. And Swampy, you don't have to cock it every time. You can shoot it on the fly. The cocking mechanism is so your arrow never falls off the riser, hence the bar across the top of the rest. Cocking is completely optional but you typically would never forget when you put the arrow on the string and then the arrow over the rest. Good luck and happy hunting with it. You should be having tight groups out to 40 yds in no time.
BearClaw
I got the Ultra HD put on my bow the other day. I've only shot it a few times but it really seemed to make the bow shoot quieter and smoother. I shot at the bow shop at a very short range but the groups were tight. The bow shop guy said he'd never see me shoot that good. I said neither have I! I'll know more when I shoot at longer distances outside. I also have the Meta peep and I love the combination. I'll keep you posted!
