cray8705
I've had these boots for 2 hunting seasons and both boots have started to leak. They are really comfortable but I would expect them to last longer. Anyone else have this problem with them? I contacted the company and they want me to send them in but they aren't sure if there is anything they can do because they are 2yrs old. I still have the receipt which I thought would have helped but that didn't seem to make a difference. They've been really well taken care of and they look brand new, except they leak. I would expect boots to last longer when you pay as much as they are for them, hopefully they will stand by their product and replace them though. Whats everyone else think? cray8705
Just ask Joe about these boots! http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87405 Thanks for finding that for me. I'm thinking i'm going to send them in and hopefully will get something out of the deal. Anybody have recommendations for a good pair of rubber boots that will last longer than 2 seasons? WHISKEYSWAMP
I was planning on buy a pair of dream season boots until I heard too may unfavorable reviews... I bought a pair of Muck boots last year and have no complaints.
Squirrelhunter91
Ranger beat me to it. I was gonna post the same link. Yup I'll never buy another Scentblocker product again. The boots that were replacements from last year have started to leak slightly. Next time I'm going with a trusted name like Lacrosse. cray8705
well I sent the boots into scent blocker, i'm not expecting any miracles but maybe i'll get another pair that will last another year or so. I also went and bought a pair of Lacrosse knee boots today so hopefully i'll have better luck with them.
dbHunterNY
kind of funny i got these cheap green plain but insulated rubber boots for $19 at walmart and they've lasted like a handful of years now. i can hike up and down a stream and my feet stay dry everytime too! they're not bad for a rubber boot, but i was thinking about getting some gel soles for them. Wobbly_Alaska
i like xtra tuffs... but the lacross have a better ankel fit for many... since my ankles are hosed... i can't wear them
cray8705
Got a brand new pair of Scentblocker Dream Season Knee boots back. They are the "new and improved" ones, they do look a little tougher than the first pair I had hopefully these last longer, but its pretty cool that they have stood by their product and sent new ones. Cornfed
Consider yourself lucky that you actually got 2 seasons out of them. Everyone else I know didn't get 1 full seasons use. They are comfortable ligtweight bows but just not made to shed water! Far to over-priced!
