I think it might be cheaper to move up there and become a resident for whatever the min. time period is and do the hunts that way. LOL though i would not dream of spending 12K for a guide anywhere, there are those that live for and enjoy that sort of thing.... it takes a lot of work to find a bear lest along a GOOD trophy animal many seek. my wife cringes when i bring up bear hunting( house is full of them;)) except that she loves to eat the balck bears and interior grizz make good sausage... Guess I'll be passing. Have to laugh about eating black bear----I've shot a couple here in Colorado. My mother-in-law made a couple roasts one Sunday.
