buckbuster01
My son is eager to start shooting a bow. He has been shooting some of the cheaper bows that do no more than barely get the arrow to the target 10 ft away. What kind of bow should I get for him to really get the swing of archery. he is 10 years old. He really wants to get good and kill a deer with his bow. Can anyone help? Diamond Archer 01
The diamond razor edge is a great bow for kids. I used the edge which is the model before it and the razor edge goes from 19-28 inches of draw and 30-60 pounds of draw weight. I hope this helps you a little bit. Prairiepredator
The martin leopard is a really good bow for youth. My younger brother used to have it and now he has Mission maniac and loves it. The Maniac comes with a large range for draw length adjustment and poundage adjustment. The razors edge is a great choice. It comes with either 30# (15-30) limbs or 60# (30-60) limbs. It also comes in a package with rest, sight, and quiver. Buy a release and some arrows and you're on your way. Easy to change draw lengths as well. No press required. Hope you find what you're lookin' for. Muleyman
I am 12 and my first bow was a Martin Leopard. It was awesome. I could group them the size of a quarter from 20 yards. I loved that bow!!! I now have a Mission Maniac. Tell him to get it!! It can go from 34-74lbs! and 22-30" draw length. I am shooting great with it and have hit a dime at 20 yards. It is very adjustable. U don't need a bow press to adjust the draw length either. All u have to do is loosen a screw on and turn the module. If I were to reccomend any bow to him the he could grow with. It would have to be the Mission MAniac. It is also very well priced!
